The Global Sugar Land property is a 3.53 acre retail/office development parcel located south of Houston, Texas in the city of Sugar Land. The property is located at the southeast corner of University Drive and Bonaventure Way. Access to the property is from both University Drive and Bonaventure Way. The property also has access to all major utilities including power, water and sewer.
Sugar Land is the largest city in Fort Bend County with a population of approximately 83,000 in 2012. Sugar Land is home to numerous master planned communities including Telfair (in which the property is situated). The city also has a strong business base with a number of national and regional headquarters. A new minor league ballpark was built near the project and the Sugar Land Regional Airport, the fourth largest airport in the Houston area, is located approximately one mile to the west. There are two major general hospitals located in Sugar Land and a number of rehabilitation hospitals.
